Title: Sales Specialist, Wealth Management, AsiaID: SAL00007251DescriptionRole Purpose:The Specialist Sales role is responsible for new business development - prospecting/cold calling and developing new business opportunities within existing customer account relationships by expanding into new departments and customer groups for Wealth Management / Private Banking. Individual must have deep domain knowledge of products/solutions, markets, industry professionals, trends, and competitors for their assigned customer segment. Through the deployment of a consultative sales process, the sales specialist is accountable for identifying, attracting, qualifying, proposing potential TR solutions, and driving/accelerating sales closings to achieve gross sales targets. This is a quota bearing position.Major Responsibilities:- Deep domain knowledge and technical expertise in Wealth Management / Private Banking and related TR products/solutions- Strong business development, prospecting, and consultative/solutions-based selling skills- Make sure CRM is used on daily basis as analysis, planning & documentation tool.- Cooperate closely with other functions to enable a joined-up service experience and the right level of contact for each end user.- Strong communications, interpersonal, and persuasion skills- Effective organizational and planning skills- Emotional resilience- Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills- Strong rolodex of industry contacts for assigned customer market segment- Undergraduate degree required- MBA or Masters Degree preferred- Industry licenses or designations welcomed- Previous industry experience preferredAt Thomson Reuters, we deliver intelligent information quickly and efficiently, so professionals have knowledge to act.
